Reading is for me as breathing. Books develop our imagination, allow us to get emotionally involved in stories and we may learn a lot from them. Since 2014 that I'm a professor at the University of Coimbra, in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Therefore, I love technology, how it develops, but during my PhD time, I also gained some sensibility to ethical issues. At a certain point, instead of asking "what do we do with the technology we develop", I started asking "what do we become with the technology we develop". However, when we consider our "becoming", the introduction of a spiritual component in our reflection is unavoidable, whether you are a believer or not. That was the moment when I discovered the fascinating dialogue between science, religion, and technology. This was the sparkle to start writing on several topics related with this dialogue.
